Various Clients
Illustration
Illustrator & Graphic Designer
Digital illustration was my first passion and my reason for getting into design. With over a decade of experience illustrating for clients in just about every sector, I pride myself on pixel-perfect images that enhance the messaging they’re paired with.
American Library Association
Banned Books Video
Art Director & Illustrator
For the second year in a row, we were approached by the American Library Association to put together a motion graphic video celebrating literature and shedding light on books that were challenged during the previous calendar year.
This was my first time experimenting with texture within a traditionally clean illustration. Ultimately, the client ended up going in another direction, but this project still stands out in my mind as an example of me pushing myself out of my comfort zone to achieve a unique style.
Werk Insight
Website Hero
Art Director & Illustrator
Specializing in gathering data and market research, Werk needed a hero image for their new website that matched the curious nature of their business.
A lightbulb illuminates and casts a halo of light that acts as a container for the illustration.
AMEX
Employee Portraits
Art Director & Illustrator
American Express approached us to illustrate portraits of their team members to be included on their intranet portal.
Based on client-provided imagery, I came up with a style that could be easily replicated by other members of my team. Using a consistent container and treatment ensured that the set felt like a custom collection of avatars.
Report Cover
Art Director & Illustrator
A client of ours was working on pitching an RFP to Facebook and wanted an illustrated cover that utilized their signature blue along with a theme of togetherness.
I explored the theme of a campfire, contrasting hard silhouettes and vector shapes alongside texture to give the cover an overall tactile feel.
ACM SIGGRAPH
2020 Conference Poster
Art Director & Illustrator
As a part of the initial theme pitch, I illustrated a poster for the SIGGRAPH 2020 conference. The theme was centered around a midcentury-modern look and feel.
It was both challenging and fun to work through building out an illustration of the convention center where the conference was going to be held in perspective.
Ultimately, the client went with a different poster design within the theme, but this is one of my favorite illustrations to date.
